Two down one to go on Egmont Street

Here are two of our completed two storey new builds in this three lot development. We are wrapped with how these builds came up and our client was so wonderful to work with. As you can see in our projects page the transformation of this property into what it is today is something we are really proud of. Whilst we always had this vision of what the finished homes would look like, it’s so good for everyone else to watch these come to life, most importantly our client.

The cladding chosen is a mix of brick and BGC Nuline weatherboard whilst the roofing was longrun colorsteel Maxx to give more protection being so close to the coast. The addition of the timber balcony area broke up the shape of these builds and gave them some great street appeal.

These builds are three bed two bath with multiple living areas and generate over $600 per week rent for our client, which equates to over 5% rental yield. Just goes to show what you can achieve on a small footprint whilst still leaving enough space for two off-street car parks and a nice size lawn. The real bonus of building two storey is the added sea views you get from the first floor. This along with the other features mentioned is the reason why our client was able to maximise their rental yield potential. You can create nice infill housing without settling for cheaper alternatives when if comes to your materials. Think long term!

Huge thanks to Nick, Anna and the Versatile team for completing these builds to such a high standard. With frames up on the last home we cant wait to finish off this development in style. If you have a similar project in mind but don’t know where to begin, just reach out to us for a chat.
